I’m recruiting 50 senior engineers as the founding cohort for Nexertise — a structural fix for ad fraud where brands pay only when a verified human proves they read the content. Pilot launches tomorrow, May 25th.
You get paid $10.50–$52.50 per engagement (3–5 minutes) to read a short brand brief and pass a comprehension check. Fully async. No commitment. One engagement per campaign.
Signup is open. Stripe KYC takes about a minute.
Why this exists
Digital ad fraud is projected to cost brands $172B by 2028. The detection stack — DoubleVerify, IAS, Human Security — has been losing the arms race for years, and LLMs accelerate it. Synthetic engagement now passes every signal layer.
Detection is reactive: catch bots, refund advertisers after the fact. The structural alternative is to never pay for the impression in the first place — only for a verified human who can prove they understood what they read.
How it works
A brand picks an audience (e.g., “senior data engineers at 500+ companies”) and submits the actual content they’d otherwise distribute via ads — a blog post, launch announcement, product page.
You read it, take a short comprehension check, write brief feedback.
The brand pays only when the check passes. You get paid per engagement via Stripe Connect.
FAQ
“Why would brands pay for this?”
LinkedIn ads, programmatic, and most professional-audience channels are full of bot impressions and disengaged clicks. Brands want senior engineers actually reading their content and have no channel that proves it.
“What about conflict of interest with my employer?”
You will never see content from your employer or their direct competitors. Flagged early by our first founding member (a Databricks engineer); built into the matching layer.
“How do you verify identity?”
Stripe KYC at signup. Work email verification. Continuous device fingerprinting on each session.
Anything else — email me at yisrael@nexertise.com.
Founding members
“Getting paid for what our time is actually worth.”
— Robert Altmiller, Staff Engineer, Databricks

“I’m at the stage of my career where I want to collaborate with other teams — this gives me insight into what’s happening in the market.”
— Varsha Ahirwal, AI Data Architect, Microsoft

Solo founder. Built Nexertise over five months with Claude Code. Applied to YC Summer 2026. If you’re considering signing up, thank you for taking this seriously — I’ll do the same.
— Yisrael Gottlieb
yisrael@nexertise.com
nexertise.com
