StopTheMadness Pro version 26.0 is now available in the App Store. This update brings a great new feature: autoclick buttons! Specify a button on a website to be clicked automatically. For example, agree to terms and conditions, reject cookies, or close a popup.
I like to browse the web with Safari private windows, so I used to see a lot of this madness:
I don’t see it anymore, though, because I’ve set the latest version of StopTheMadness Pro to automatically click the Agree button. I hope you’ll agree that this new feature is a huge relief! For more information, see the documentation.
StopTheMadness Pro 26.0 also includes a number of other changes:
Font replacements: New option “Warn of blocked replacement.” This option, enabled by default, displays a warning when the Content Security Policy of the web page blocks your font replacement.
Font replacements: Fixed “Unset all of the website's fonts” in the Shadow DOM.
Shadow DOM: Fixed an incompatibility with the Noir extension on Cloudflare challenges.
Show native video controls: Fixed Vimeo embeds.
Stop autoplaying audio and video: Fixed some visual flickering on thehill.com when scrolling down the page.
Max volume on first video play: Undid a change in version 25.6 on iOS that disabled this option when “Stop autoplaying audio and video” was disabled. You can once again enable them separately on iOS.
Input maxlength warning: Fixed an issue where autofill could produce multiple warnings.
Stop link trackers: Remove the cvid and ocid tracking parameters from msn.com URLs.
Force popups into tabs: Fixed a bug where noopener and noreferrer could be lost.
Show Menu on Tap: Fixed a bug where the tap was passed to the web page if there were no relevant menu items.
Override built-in functions: Fixed an incompatibility with the qBittorrent WebUI.
StopTheMadness Pro now requires macOS 14 or iOS 17 and later.
