I wonder which path is most effective? Surely the workers prefer the one that is easiest and most engaging for the mind. I bet the preference depends on the mind...anyway I bring no value judgements on if it s good or bad I just thought of that and I thought that someone somewhere should read about that for some reason--also--they encourage you to use a full-screen window and just to think your way through problems instead of looking elsewhere. They do this with the auto-scroll-down functionality that triggers whenever your mouse / focus leaves the window. This is very stressful and annoying to people who like to cross-reference. But, it is useful for keeping yourself on task. Without it, it often feels like swimming in a sea of text - this is because people don t know how to pg.up and pg.down.
