How can I try Brave Origin?
Brave Origin is available in two ways:
As a new, standalone browser product, available via a separate app download on your device
As an upgrade to the existing version of Brave on your device<br>Both versions will be available via a one-time purchase of $59.99 US, and a single purchase will give you access to both options. How many devices can I cover with my Brave Origin purchase?
Purchasing Brave Origin will provide a purchase ID that can be activated across all your devices, in either—or a combination of both—standalone and upgrade modes. For example, you could choose to use Origin as a standalone app on your desktop and as an upgrade to the existing Brave app on your phone. There is no limit to the number of times you can activate Origin across your devices and platforms, but there is a rate limit. You can manage your activations using self-serve controls in account.brave.com (or contact the Brave Support team for help).
Can I remove activations from devices I no longer use, or that I no longer want to be connected to Brave Origin?
Technically, your device isn’t linked to your Brave account in any way (based on Privacy Pass). There is no limit to the number of times you can activate Origin across your devices and platforms, but there is a rate limit. However, you can manage your activations using self-serve controls in account.brave.com (or contact the Brave Support team for help).
Will the regular, non-Origin version of Brave cost money?
For users who prefer Brave’s rich feature set, or who simply don’t want to pay for Brave Origin, the existing Brave browser product will remain free and fully supported.
