Last Tuesday and this weekend, I mentioned to friends that if AI paid everyone for the content we create, they would love it. Right now, public sentiment toward AI is highly negative as you can see from the many recent graduation commencement speeches. Heads of states, billionaires and other commencement speakers are almost getting booed off stage. Here’s one many you can see on YouTube…
https://youtube.com/shorts/KdMvy5mZehk?si=c2shaCyDOxuObjtZ
Thanks for reading Ryan's Substack! Every human is rightfully afraid of AI now because in time it will severely disrupt the human routine we are accustom to. That being go to work, make a living to pay your fair share to keep society and this circle we’ve been running for centuries going. Yet as AI evolves the many tasks we perform for work the computers to the robots will be doing for us. Society as we know is flipped upside down and that causes anxiety as to how we will keep this society/circle going. Well not that I have all the answers, but as noted been having thoughts/ideas I’ve discussed with friends. Then last night (Sunday) I saw this video where Trump on Air Force One said he will be meeting AI companies to discuss a system that somehow pays Americans.
https://youtube.com/shorts/CaJd88zh1h0?si=SmVq5XSbC3NtkmOJ
Now how would Americans get paid for feeding the AI beast? Well without our content AI is stuck in the past and less relevant, so it needs us to thrive. With that being said here are some ideas/thoughts in creating a system that gets Americans’ paid for the content all of us create each day through our daily lives…
Every human would have their own website and all their text and voice chats with AI would be fed to their AI generated websites. AI would know what to keep private and not.
AI bots from every industry would scour all humans’ websites for content
Cloudflare a company that now acts as a bot gate would allow these bots into your site upon the bots paying you for access.
Cloudfare’s CEO just mentioned that bot traffic will supercede human traffic by 2027 and he foresees the internet business model possbily change to charging bots for access to users’ content.
As humans we witness life through our phones and smart glasses, as well converse about great local or not local restaurants, businesses, experiences, resorts to whatever daily. Yet we are not getting paid for our content and we should, especially if AI is going thrive of us we need to thrive too!
