Meltdown is built in Python with Tkinter, replacing the heavy embedded<br>browser found in most clients with fully custom widgets — including a<br>markdown engine built from scratch. This keeps it fast, lean, and<br>precisely in your control. Run multi-model sessions, upload files, and<br>extend your LLMs with tools like web search, image creation, document<br>generation, and persistent memory. The code and architecture<br>are carefully crafted to ensure a stable and effective foundation.

- Dynamic ASCII tables that display content cleanly and resize with the window

- Multiple themes including dark, light, and high contrast

- No telemetry. It doesn't phone home

- Significantly lighter on CPU and RAM than Electron-based alternatives
