To say AI is a confidence booster for me is an understatement. I&rsquo;ve been able to ship more quality software than ever before. I take more time to really think through each feature<br>, and the end results are better.<br>When wielded and applied properly, it lets you build things that were previously unimaginable, or at least unfeasible. It allowed me to find & fix an obscure bug in laravel/framework and have it merged for the next release<br>. We&rsquo;re fixing more bugs and adding more quality-of-life changes<br>to Oh Dear weekly. I&rsquo;m restarting side-projects, picked up blogging after a hiatus & genuinly fell in love with programming<br>again.<br>Opus 4.8 and GPT 5.5 together work as skill-amplifiers. Are you decent at coding? Now you can be really good. Are you a good product developer? Now you have superpowers. If you&rsquo;re not shipping more and better software than you were a year ago, I don&rsquo;t know what to say.<br>Confidence is something you earn based on what you&rsquo;ve done in the past. It lets you look forward with conviction that you can repeat it. Today, I&rsquo;m confidently shipping. Nothing feels impossible anymore.
