A message from Andrew Sliwinski, Head of Product Experience

As the head of Product Experience at LEGO® Education, I personally want to thank you for engaging so many students with our SPIKE™ portfolio.

My team and I dedicate years of work to designing, developing, and testing our products for the ultimate purpose of getting them into the hands of students. Because of this, it is always a bittersweet moment for our team when we retire a product too.

We are known for our commitment to delivering exceptional product quality that stands the test of time. This focus on quality means that our products not only meet but exceed industry standards for safety and long-lasting durability. In fact, many of our legacy LEGO Education solutions continue to be utilized in schools today, showcasing both the lasting value we provide and the trust schools place when investing in our offerings.

Your satisfaction and trust in our products are our top priorities, and we strive to uphold these values in everything we do.

Thank you for inspiring students around the world through learning and play with LEGO Education!

Useful information

Software support
After company sales conclude, LEGO® Education will support the SPIKE™ App for five years, until June 30, 2031.

During this five-year period, we will continue to fix bugs and support the latest versions of supported operating systems, including MacOS, Windows, Chromebook, Android, and iOS.

After June 30, 2031, while the software will still be available online, it will no longer receive updates or bug fixes. This means it might become incompatible with new operating systems released at any point after June 2031.

Lesson availability
The current comprehensive SPIKE curriculum will continue to be available online at LEGOeducation.com/lessons and in the SPIKE App until June 30, 2031.

In addition to the curriculum, you can utilize various resources that use SPIKE products, such as:
World Play Day
STEAM Career Toolkit
Eclipse
Build to Launch
Tufts activities

LEGO Education Community/Third party
Many teachers have created additional lessons, activities, and resources and we encourage you to share and connect with peers within the LEGO Education Community and through online third-party platforms to continue to get the most of your existing sets.
