If preliminary approval is granted, the deal will cover U.S. residents who purchased the iPhone 16, iPhone 16e, iPhone 16 Plus, iPhone 16 Pro, iPhone 16 Pro Max, iPhone 15 Pro or iPhone 15 Pro Max in the United States for purposes other than resale from June 10, 2024 to March 29, 2025.<br>ClassAction.org will update this page when the Apple iPhone settlement website— SmartphoneAISettlement.com —is live.<br>Under the proposed deal, Apple iPhone settlement class members who submit a timely, valid claim form can receive a cash payment of approximately $25 per eligible device they purchased.<br>The class action settlement agreement notes that the final amount of the per-device cash payout may be adjusted up or down on a pro rata (equal-share) basis, depending on the total number of valid claims submitted, but cash payments will be capped at $95 per device.<br>ClassAction.org will update this page with information on how to submit an Apple iPhone settlement claim form as it is released by the settlement administrator.<br>Additionally, the settlement agreement states that Apple anticipates delivering Siri Apple Intelligence features in future software updates at no additional cost to consumers.<br>The court will determine whether to grant the Apple iPhone 16 settlement final approval following a hearing scheduled for a later date. Compensation will begin to be distributed to class members only after final approval has been granted and any appeals have been resolved.<br>The Apple iPhone class action lawsuit claimed that the tech company violated consumer protection laws by failing to timely deliver certain advertised Apple Intelligence features for iPhone 16 and 15 models.
