The AI Agent in the Billing Department of Verizon Wireless is a Mentally Handicapped Thug

So far this month I’ve made two posts regarding issues with Verizon Wireless demanding money they have yet to prove I owe: I started with an in-depth explanation on June 1, then an update on June 7 when I received a hard copy “demand letter.” Today is the third such entry and will be brief. The photos included for context should carry the message just fine.
As my last post showed with the Hard Copy Letter sent, the Billing Department in Verizon Wireless somehow doesn’t understand how a calendar works. The letter included a “Payment Slip” indicating the due date for the monies requested was May 24, 2026. The date that the letter was written was May 28, 2026.
This is not the kind of mistake a human being makes.

After that article, I started to look closer at the email correspondence. There apparently are two (2) systems now at Verizon Wireless that are contacting me about the alleged $86 balance on a terminated account. One is the “legacy” system, and the emails look like this:
Press enter or click to view image in full size

The other is their new AI Agent system, and the emails are distinctly different. First, the tone is written like a Sopranos character (minus the profanity) , which probably appeals to the jabroni goombahs in the Verizon HQ in Jersey. Second, it’s also prone to basic text mistakes which any human using spell-check on an email platform would catch:
Press enter or click to view image in full size

The tone is really worth thinking about, because the AI Agent’s Masters want it to sound like this…Once I figured out that Verizon Wireless is trying to manage its revenue stream by way of an AI Agent, I was curious. No, I wasn’t curious enough to pay the $10 they demand to talk to a Human Being, but I did have a different avenue. Why not ask the Verizon AI Chatbot about the Verizon Billing AI Agent? Without being too specific, I think the responses indicate Google Gemini is involved at least partially in their operations:
Press enter or click to view image in full size

What About My $86.71 Bill?!
Verizon Wireless hired an AI Agent and it is screwing up their Billing Department faster than humanly possible.
Press enter or click to view image in full size

This should be a Case Study in how NOT to deploy an LLM in a business scenario. Not only is this making me angry enough to document and share my dissatisfaction as a warning for people to stay away from them (Reputational Risk), but there are implications that the C-Suite Executives who signed off on this are now exposed to Shareholder Litigation where the Directors & Officers policy might be called into play.
I signed up in Good Faith, returned the device ASAP when the service was unacceptable, and was well within the 30 day return period — in case the Verizon Wireless Executives are going to try to use AI to do the math for them, FOUR DAYS IS LESS THAN 30 DAYS YOU GREEDY MEATHEAD JAGOFFS!!!

I know damn well I don’t owe the $86, because the Verizon AI Chatbot told me the Activation Fee I would be responsible for paying is $35:
Press enter or click to view image in full size

Basically by putting this Mentally Handicapped Thug AI Agent from the Google Gemini Staffing Service, they destroyed shareholder value at an exponential rate. Everyone involved in making this Executive Decision should be confronted and held accountable. What that looks like, I don’t know and I don’t care because I’m not a shareholder of any US companies nor a Lawyer, but even Google still manages to help find some:
Top 5 Reasons Shareholders File Derivative Actions
Shareholders can take matters into their own hands and file a lawsuit against officers and directors when they have…

What can I do? I guarantee you if the AI Agent falsely reports that $86.71 claim to a Collections Agency and/or Experian and other credit entities, I’ll bring the heat however possible…bet!
