What is GoPeek?
Your browser shouldn't explode into 47 tabs just to check a few links.
GoPeek replaces the exhausting "open in new tab → wait → check → close tab" workflow<br>with live interactive windows that open instantly and directly inside your current page.
Instead of constantly losing context, you can browse links, compare active pages side-by-side, minimize Peeks into floating bubbles, and continue navigating without interruption.

Is GoPeek free?
Yes. GoPeek is completely free to use. All core features, including hover preview, sidebar mode, multi-peek, bubble minimize, and dynamic theme matching, are available at no cost. We may introduce a Pro tier with advanced features in the future, but the essentials will always stay free.
Which browsers does GoPeek support?
GoPeek is available on Firefox and Microsoft Edge right now. A Chrome version is in development and coming soon.
Does GoPeek track my browsing data?
No. GoPeek does not collect, store, or transmit any browsing data, history, or personal information. The extension operates entirely locally in your browser. We use privacy-friendly analytics on our website, but the extension itself has zero tracking. Read our full Privacy Policy for details.
Can I customize the keyboard shortcut?
Yes. The default trigger is Shift + Hover , but you can change it to Alt or Ctrl in the GoPeek popup settings. You can also enable an additional Long Press trigger, which lets you hold-click any link to open a GoPeek window without using a modifier key. The press duration is fully customizable (from 300 ms up to 1000 ms) in the popup settings. You can also adjust window size by either dragging the GoPeek window's bottom-right corner or manually setting your desired resolution in the popup, and you can adjust the sidebar width to match your workflow.
Does GoPeek work on all websites?
GoPeek works on most websites, including Google Search, Reddit, Wikipedia, GitHub, Stack Overflow, news sites, and blogs. Some sites with strict Content Security Policy (CSP) headers may block iframe previews, but GoPeek automatically handles most of these cases.
