Hungry customers who want to step back in time and experience Pizza Hut as they did when they were children can now do so.<br>Daland Corporation, a Kansas-based management company that oversees 94 Pizza Hut restaurants in New York and other states, has brought back nostalgic items such as vinyl booths, Tiffany-style lamps and classic arcade games.<br>Daland Corporation President Tim Sparks said his team has spent the past six years converting locations into nostalgic havens for Pizza Hut lovers.<br>Some of the primary items Daland Corporation has brought back are the company’s red cups, checkered tablecloths, salad bars and the pizza chain's signature red roof design. The converted restaurants are called Pizza Hut Classic locations.

Sparks said the Tiffany-type lampshades have been difficult to find, but the attention the Pizza Hut Classic locations have received online and from media outlets has helped track down these items.<br>USA TODAY Shopping: Shop sales in tech, home, fashion, beauty & more curated by our editors.“We use Amazon to find the table arrangers and battery operated candles,” he told USA TODAY via email on May 22. “Originally, Pizza Hut had a vendor making the Tiffany-style lamp shades but because they required a minimum order of 500 they ended the relationship. I was not involved in that process as I would have bought 500!”<br>USA TODAY contacted Pizza Hut on May 21 to see if the brand is redesigning any non-franchised restaurants, but did not immediately receive a response.

The location had checkered booths and Pizza Hut's classic red cups, the same as Daland's.<br>"We drove an hour to visit a Pizza Hut 'classic' decorated like our childhood," the user captioned the video. "They have a retro interior design including the famous chandeliers and checkered booths."<br>Other users chimed in, saying the cups made the drinks taste better, while others recalled how busy the restaurants were on Friday and Saturday nights in the 1990s.<br>"They have tried so many things," wrote one user. Where can I find a Pizza Hut Classic location near me?<br>Daland Corporation has already transformed over 30 locations into Pizza Hut Classic restaurants. The management company plans to convert 12 more over the next four years, Sparks told USA TODAY.<br>He estimates the redesigns cost between $90,000 and $95,000 per location.
