i told him that i saw him<br>i meant no harm

asked if the tree was his home

and if he liked san francisco<br>and the far view of the golden gate bridge<br>that we were both seeing

i said to him:

i see there&rsquo;s a being inside there<br>there&rsquo;s a being inside me too

so enjoy life man

i know some part of you<br>can understand this

and what this moment meant<br>for your life

even if language<br>isn&rsquo;t even a thing for you

maybe not as words<br>but as stillness<br>as sunlight<br>as not running away
