Charts below track how API traffic is distributed across LLM labs on OpenRouter, updated daily.<br>All three charts are cross-linked: hover any chart to see the same date highlighted across the others.<br>Huge thanks to OpenRouter for publishing this data.

Top 10 Labs Share %

Each line shows a Lab's percentage of total tokens consumed<br>that day. This means a lab with rising absolute token consumption could still fall relatively.

Token Volume by Lab (across providers)

The same labs as the first chart, but showing absolute token<br>counts stacked.

Total Token Consumption

The sum of all labs' daily tokens shows how the aggregate token<br>consumption has been on a tear.

Methodology

Data source: OpenRouter aggregate daily usage across all API<br>labs.

Tokens: Input + output tokens combined per lab per day.

Partial-day exclusion: The latest day is always dropped because<br>it contains incomplete data.

Lab: A model creator company as opposed to API host (e.g. OpenAI,<br>Anthropic, Google,<br>Mistral).
