ZSoftly Cloud Platform is live. Create an account and start provisioning infrastructure today.
What we built
ZCP is an independent sovereign cloud running on bare-metal hardware we own and operate. Not resold hyperscaler capacity, not white-labelled infrastructure.
YUL-1 and YOW-1 are live today, both with direct public IPv4 support. YUL-1 is the primary region for all production workloads. YOW-1 is a dev/test region suited for development, testing, and private cloud demos where 100% uptime is not required. Five more regions are on the roadmap across North America and Europe, YVR, BUF, LAX, LHR, AMS.
The platform runs on an open-source stack:
Compute: Apache CloudStack orchestrating KVM hypervisors
Storage: Ceph distributed storage with NVMe-backed pools
Networking: Open vSwitch with isolated VPC support
Monitoring: Prometheus, Grafana, and Loki for observability
Every component is open-source. No proprietary agents, no vendor lock-in.
Full disclosure: our cloud management portal
The self-service portal and billing system customers use is a licensed, white-labelled cloud management platform from a third-party vendor. We made the deliberate decision not to build this in-house. Building a production-grade cloud management UI, billing engine, usage metering system, and multi-tenant portal from scratch would take years and pull engineering time away from what matters: the infrastructure itself.
By licensing a proven platform, we ship faster and focus our engineering effort on the infrastructure layer: compute, storage, networking, and security.
What matters: the licensed software runs entirely on our own infrastructure. No data is sent to the vendor. No external party has access to customer accounts, usage data, or billing records. We retain full control of all data, and the licensing arrangement does not change where your data lives or who controls it.
Private cloud build-outs: our primary business
Our number one goal is to show teams anywhere in the world they do not need a hyperscaler. You run a production-grade private cloud on your own infrastructure, on your own terms. In your own server room or in a secured colocation facility, you own the hardware and the data.
ZSoftly designs, deploys, and manages dedicated private cloud environments for organizations needing full control. We handle the architecture, the deployment, the security hardening, and the ongoing maintenance and scaling. You get a production-grade cloud platform without building the team to operate it.
This is our primary business model. The public cloud (ZCP) demonstrates what we build. The private cloud build-out is what we deliver to customers who need sovereign infrastructure they fully own.

What is available today
ZCP is live with:
Virtual machines from 1 vCPU / 1 GB RAM ($12/mo) to 48 vCPU / 96 GB RAM ($1,152/mo)
Kubernetes: managed control plane, standard K8s, persistent volumes via CSI, autoscaling
Object storage with S3-compatible API at $0.024/GB/mo
Block storage as persistent NVMe volumes at $0.14/GB/mo
File storage: shared NFS and SMB volumes, multi-VM concurrent access
Networking with VPC isolation, load balancers, and firewall rules
DNS as a Service: authoritative DNS for your domains, included free, managed from the portal
Observability: Prometheus, Grafana, Alertmanager
Security: per-VM firewall rules, DDoS protection on all public IPs, IAM and audit logs
Marketplace: 14 OS images (Ubuntu, Rocky, Debian, Windows, FreeBSD, and more) and a growing catalog of one-click apps (WordPress, GitLab, Docker, databases, and more)
Ingress and egress are free and unmetered. Pricing is in CAD. Every new account starts with $100 CAD in launch credit (valid 30 days) and can earn up to $300 CAD in total. Creating an account takes a minimum CA$1.00 payment for verification and validation, which is added as infra credit you can spend. After the launch credit is consumed or expires, usage moves to post-paid billing.
Accounts include resource quotas for VMs, IPs, and storage to prevent abuse.
