just.witter is a voice feed. no text posts, no photos, no video. just short voice recordings — up to 3 minutes — from anyone who wants to say something.
no sign up needed. hit start and you get a station — a random frequency that's yours. your only way back in is a recovery code, so save it somewhere safe.
stations go dark. if a station hasn't posted in 7 days it disappears from the feed. log back in and post something and you're live again. ghost stations — those that never post — are removed after 48 hours.
everything is public. anyone can listen. there's no private mode, no DMs, no algorithm. just voices, newest first.
3 minutes max. no script, no edit. hit record, say what's on your mind, post it. that's it.
stay in the loop. allow notifications and we'll ping you when someone replies to your voice — no email needed, works for all stations including anonymous ones.

just.witter lets you record your voice and put it out there. by using this service you agree to the following.
just.witter is for mature users. you should be of appropriate age as defined by the laws of your country.
voices are public. anything you record and post — including replies to other people's casts — is visible to everyone on the platform. don't voice anything you wouldn't want shared widely, because it will be.
recordings are capped at 3 minutes and, once posted, are stored on our servers so they can be played back by anyone viewing the feed.
no abuse. you may not use this service to harass, threaten, dox, or harm another person. you may not post illegal content, including anything that sexualises minors, and you may not impersonate someone else.
anonymous "station" accounts have no password. your recovery code is the only way back into that account — if you lose it, the account cannot be recovered. you can upgrade to a username, email, and password at any time.
we can remove content or suspend accounts that break these rules or are reported and found to violate them.
this service is provided as-is with no guarantees. we are not liable for the content other users post.

just.witter is built around two kinds of accounts: anonymous "stations" and registered accounts. what we collect depends on which one you use.
anonymous accounts: we generate a random recovery code and a station number. we don't ask for your name, email, or any identifying information to create one.
registered accounts: if you upgrade or sign up directly, we collect a username, email address, and password (stored hashed, never in plain text) so you can recover access and verify your identity.
voices and replies — the audio you record, any caption text, and engagement data like plays and reactions — are stored on our servers for as long as your account or the voice exists, since the feed is public by design.
what we also collect: session/login tokens, timestamps, and server access logs including IP addresses, used for security and abuse prevention.
what we do not do: sell your data to third parties, or listen to your recordings ourselves beyond what's needed to moderate reported content.
