An idea. A manuscript. An image. A version of code. A research<br>protocol. A contract. A forecast. Svartnod helps you create<br>independent proof that exactly this digital content already existed.

HOW IT WORKS

Four simple steps. The original file is never uploaded.

The file is read locally in your browser. The content and<br>file name are not sent to Svartnod.

Create the timestamp

You receive a receipt file to save.

Retrieve the completed proof file

Use the receipt file again later, often the next day, to<br>retrieve the completed proof file.

Show the timestamp

Use the original file and the completed proof file to show<br>that the file existed before a verified point in time.

Save the original file and the receipt file until you have retrieved the completed proof file.<br>After that, keep the original file and the completed proof file.<br>Svartnod does not store the files for you and cannot recreate them<br>if they are lost.
