Community Event Guidelines<br>Here are the guidelines for Community Events:

These sessions are truly “for the community, by the community”<br>Organizers are responsible for securing their own budget, finding a venue, coordinating the logistics for the event and promoting the event<br>Sessions must be somehow related to innovation and entrepreneurship<br>Sessions must abide by CSW Code of Conduct<br>No sales pitches or political or vulgar content<br>DSW reserves right to decline session submissions<br>Submissions close July 1st, 2026<br>Organizers may use CSW toolkit for promotion<br>Sessions will be listed on the CSW schedule, clearly designated as Community Events

Community Event organizers are responsible for and what Colorado Startup Week will provide:<br>Community Event Organizers:

Come up with event content and recruit speakers<br>Find a venue<br>Coordinate any necessary logistics<br>Secure any necessary budget<br>Promote your event<br>Make sure event abides by CSW Code of Conduct

Colorado Startup Week team:

Approves appropriate submissions<br>Lists approved Community Events on the Colorado Startup Week schedule<br>Allows Community Event Organizers to see registration numbers on the schedule<br>Provide marketing for all CSW events
