Short answer: yes, you canThis is a question I keep seeing asked here... plenty of devs or business owners wondering if they should OR how they can migrate off Webflow. The big argument is.. (you already know it).. big costs and features that aren t really for SMBs anymore. Which is fair, they went for bigger fish. But all the remaining websites (which are SMBs, guess what) are stuck in a spot that s making them consider moving along. So here s what I did (ps: I m partial technical, so it wasn t that hard to understand and use the core principles of coded websites).I had one scope, move a website off Webflow to a more modern medium. After researching the site architecture and goals a bit, I went with Astro (frontend) and Sanity (CMS). I used a custom Claude Code skillset that mirrors any Webflow site 1:1. Once the whole thing was mirrored, I just asked Claude to rebuild it in Astro and Sanity. Literally 2 hours of work, and I stayed within my daily quota so token costs were basically nothing.Forgot to mention, this was my first time using Astro and Sanity, so there s thatHere s an example(i don t own the website), to prove I m not bullshitting: mirrored → https://site-mirrored-claude.vercel.app/ original → https://www.gigaenergy.com/Happy to answer anything about the stack or the workflow.
