Less (about) Tech
One of my approaches is “Less Tech”, or “Less about Tech”.
“Less about Tech” emphasizes that technology stands in service of humans. It’s not primarily about the tech, the tech is a tool that helps achieve a goal. The important question is always what are we trying to do and for whom? It’s typically only at the “how” where tech enters the conversation.
But it’s also about “Less Tech” . Technology costs money to develop, maintain and support. It tends to create complexity and can lead to inflexibility. When pursuing a goal, you have to ask - will a solution with more tech be cheaper in the long run compared to a suboptimal solution with less tech?
It seems this post is also about less words.
