WALL-RUN is a neat little game for the Commodore 64, Vic20 (unexpanded), C16/+4, PET, ZX Spectrum, MSDOS/VGA or Linux/Windows with SDL2.

It is small, the Vic20 version is just 3k.

You can steer your wall with the Joystick or Keyboard, using keys "QAOP" or "RCDF" to move Up/Down/Left/Right.

Use SHIFT to fire, K/ESC to Quit, or H to Pause (SPACE restarts).

The objective of the game is to trap your Computer opponent into a position where it has no moves left. As the levels progress the Computer can "regenerate", so it gets progressively harder on higher levels.

You can collect Bonuses (hearts) for points, important for a high score, each on is worth 40 on level 1, 80 on level 2, 120 on level 3, etc.

Be careful to avoid the Mines (*) though.

Collect Ammo for the Gun, use SHIFT/FIRE to use a bullet, which will make a hole in the wall ahead. This is useful if you find are trapped in an area, or to maneuver to trap your opponent. Note that you cannot shot the opponent directly, this would make the game too easy.

From the Titlescreen you can hit T now select tempo/speed, from 1 (fast) to 4 (slow). You can hit S to toggle sound on/off, and J to select Joystick #.

MORE HINTS

On later levels, the computer has more "lives", so if you trap it, it will restart at a new random location.

It has 1 life on level 1, 2 lifes on levels 2-5, 3 lifes on 6-9, etc.

The Comp strategy is quite simple, it isnt too hard to set a trap for it.

Try to collect Ammo on earlier screens, they will be useful later.

If you hit a hazard, the Computer helps by delaying for 150ms and then scanning the Joystick/Keyboard again to see if you have made a new move.

By the way, your newly released games are working on alot of retro-systems, but they are only shown here as "for Windows and for Linux" (I understand, you mean because of the emulators that one has there), but I can also imagine, that some users of these retro-systems could get the impression, that these games are only for PC and because of this, then even don't look inside of the site of each of these single games here, on itch.io.

Maybe also all these retrosystems, on which your games work on, should directly be shown, besides the game-name, on the general website here, where all new games can be seen (if it's technically possible, to show more than two systems? I don't know, but it could make sense).
