Hookmark Version 7.2 (6635; Integration v. 420) is now available for download.
Hookmark 7.2
shows you links related to the current PDF. (i.e., in the RELATED section of the context window) (e.g., if there is a link to a page in the footer of a PDF, Hookmark creates a well-formed link to the web page, fetching the title from the Internet) The link protocol can be https: or doi://;
's context window supports multi-select;
and has several other improvements.

We will continue to gradually enhance the RELATED section, which reflects the results of Hookmark’s recommendation algorithm.
Hookmark 7.3 will have improvements to Hookmark’s tagging capabilities.

PDF footnotes parsing: a stroke of genius! Exactly what computers were supposed to be good at enabling. Thanks! This kind of added intelligence is a good way to hook me more and more.
Also, the multi-select ability is something I was wishing for and it’s great to see it implemented! I’m almost surprised you left it out into this post.

Thank you, @danieljomphe . I’m delighted you see value in all this.
We intend to augment the extraction of related URLs and related info from PDFs, through further integration with Bookends and DEVONthink, and our independent parsing of PDFs.

Speaking of intelligence we will make Hookmark compatible with Apple Intelligence which will provide additional ways of showing what is relevant to the current context. Users will be able to enable/disable this feature.
Users can show/hide the RELATED section of the Context window using ⌥⌘R.
We’re always open to suggestions for further improving Hookmark.
