Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, Rajiv Kumar, Managing Director and President, Microsoft India Development Centre (IDC) along with other dignitaries from the state government and Noida Authority at the groundbreaking ceremony of IDC’s campus in Noida sector 145 on March 8, 2025.
Noida, March 8, 2025: Microsoft today held the groundbreaking ceremony for its proposed India Development Centre (IDC) campus in Noida. Hon’ble Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh, Shri Yogi Adityanath, graced the event with his participation as the chief guest, further reinforcing the strong collaboration between Microsoft and the Government of Uttar Pradesh in advancing technology and economic development to make India an AI-first nation.

With the proposed Noida campus, Microsoft will continue its momentum of strengthening India’s AI capabilities and supporting engineering talent and digital innovation.

This proposed facility will attract top talent from India and the world and empower them to innovate across AI, cloud, and security, that will positively impact billions of lives across the planet. We deeply appreciate the support of the Government of Uttar Pradesh and Noida Authority in making this vision a reality and are grateful to Hon’ble Chief Minister Shri Yogi Adityanath for gracing the occasion.
