I still enjoy building websites without AI

I am not opposed to using LLMs, and to be honest, I spend a lot of time talking with ChatGPT or Gemini.

It is remarkable to have conversations about software development when, in the past, I could never have experienced anything like that.

I use them a lot to validate ideas or to understand how software works, even software I will probably never use.

But as a WordPress consultant, I am concerned about the future of the web.

I keep seeing more examples of poorly designed websites because they were put together in five minutes with the help of Claude.

From my perspective, the bigger problem is losing the ability to spend hundreds of hours crafting a website.

I have several websites where, over the years, I have added content, blog posts, and products.

With LLMs, websites are becoming almost disposable. They have no soul.

You can see it in the design because they all look far too similar.

On the positive side, handcrafted websites are more valuable than ever.
