Our salt harvester is an all-in-one mechanized device specially developed for salt production industries, integrating hard slag salt crushing, raw salt collection, brine mixture extraction and automatic lifting transportation in a single unit.

It fundamentally solves the low efficiency and high labor cost pain points of traditional manual salt collection, and can realize continuous, large-batch salt harvesting operations with a strong working capacity of 150–400 t/h.

Core Structural & Design Highlights

Rubber Crawler Travel Chassis

Different from rigid wheeled equipment, this salt harvester adopts full rubber crawler walking design. The contact area between crawler and salt pool ground is enlarged to disperse pressure evenly, so the machine will not scratch or crack the crystal pool bottom plates during forward movement and steering.

Besides salt harvesting, the crawler chassis can also undertake light traction and hoisting auxiliary tasks in other production sections. Its matched reducer can be disassembled and used as a shifting power component for other supporting equipment.

Stable Diesel Power Assembly

The whole machine is equipped with mature 4105 series diesel engine, rated power up to 55kw (44hp).

Diesel power delivers strong torque to cope with thick salt layers and heavy material conveying, and maintains stable operation under high humidity, high salinity coastal and inland salt lake environments.

The machine adopts front driving and rear steering layout, with a self-contained lifting conveyor mechanism to directly send collected salt to transport vehicles or stockpiles.

Built-In Hard Salt Crushing Module

A special crushing roller is installed at the front harvesting end.

When encountering compacted slag salt blocks formed by sun evaporation, the roller quickly crushes large salt masses into uniform fine crystals, avoiding pipeline blockage and improving subsequent suction efficiency.

The crushing unit can work synchronously with the harvesting system without extra separate crushing equipment.

How Does a Salt Harvester Machine Work?

The front crushing roller crushes hardened slag salt into loose fine salt crystals.

Spiral feeding bucket gathers salt-brine mixture into the suction pipeline.

Main working pump extracts mixed salt water, jet pump sprays high-pressure brine for auxiliary flushing.

Lifting conveyor vertically transports salt to the top discharge port and stacks salt or loads transport trucks directly.

This medium-sized salt harvester is designed for standard salt crystallization pools: single pool area ≥1000㎡, pool bottom bearing capacity ≥0.15MPa, surface sediment thickness less than 120mm. For ultra-large salt fields or ultra-thick salt layers, we support customized enlarged models.
