Today we’re announcing that the OpenAI Deployment Company has agreed to acquire Northslope, an applied AI company that helps enterprises realize the full value of AI across their most important operations. Northslope builds on the OpenAI Deployment Company’s recent acquisition of Tomoro, bringing together hundreds of FDEs to help the world’s most important companies turn AI into results faster.<br>The OpenAI Deployment Company was launched earlier this year to help customers put frontier AI to use inside their businesses every day. As a committed partnership between OpenAI and 19 leading global investment firms, consultancies, and system integrators, it brings the scale and hands-on focus enterprise deployment requires, from choosing the right processes to meeting real-world security and governance requirements.<br>Northslope specializes in this kind of embedded deployment work, delivering AI solutions for how businesses actually operate. The team supports mission-critical use cases across sectors, including faster cancer detection in healthcare, fewer supply-chain bottlenecks in manufacturing, and more renewable megawatts on the grid for energy producers.<br>Around the world, Northslope FDEs work side by side with frontline operators to build production AI systems that deliver measurable bottom-line impact.
