Blackbear is an everything app . A single<br>app that can replace many apps. In doing so, Blackbear enables<br>organization , connectivity ,<br>and privacy across all of life's surfaces.
You can use Blackbear to manage your time, your notes, your drawings, your images,<br>your news, and much more. Maybe only one thing resonates, maybe<br>multiple things do.

Blackbear is local-first , meaning all of your data<br>(and the logic powering the Blackbear app) lives right on your devices, not our servers.
We believe we should give others the best of what we're capable of.<br>That's our north star, and we're committed to it.
03 The How
Blackbear is built by a lean team ,<br>bootstrapped , and funded on the slight margin for<br>providing cross-device data sync (end-to-end encrypted ,<br>your data stays unreadable in transit).
We believe in socially responsible business models ,<br>e.g. business that sustains a profit so that it can empower the community that surrounds<br>it (not shareholders).
In practice this means we charge for the features that have real hardware costs<br>associated with them, and provide everything that doesn't for free.
