Really important point. We need to debunk the myth of “China thinks in centuries, US thinks in quarterly earnings.”

Short tenures for Chinese local gov leaders make it difficult to do long-term projects. And US companies—even public ones—are very capable of long-term investment bets, including arguably the current AI capex boom.
