Customer emails/phone numbers & Stripe payment details were also hacked; no one was ever notified because the company deemed it wasn't important to. Full story here:

Paywall your music or become training data. The choice is yours

I mean obviously. No one ever believed that these AI companies aren't just throwing existing copyrighted content into a blender and then shoving an MD file in the server farm that says "say nuh uh if anyone asks about that"

That’s why artists like @sza and @IAMANITABAKER been speaking out about the robbery of artists IP. Watch how quickly the AI bandits shut their stuff down when the industry finally successfully sues and demands that they pay royalties and damages for all the IP they have stolen.

It's reliant on the stolen material so it's a fraudulent product, like all AI slop.

See, this is why people gotta start using cybersec agents on their own code. Find your own vulnerabilities before others do

Can this finally be the nail in the coffin for this stuff? Blatantly using copyrighted material WITH EVIDENCE OF SUCH to train their paid service which works to replace the very artists it’s trained on.
Can we finally let copyright actually work for artists for once??

I’m old enough to remember when the industry and govt said that this very behavior was pirating and that it was a serious problem. Fast forward 30 years and now it’s apparently not pirating or a problem.
We live in the dumbest, most corrupt timeline.

The entirety of public data was scraped and used to create LLMs... largely why all the LLM's are somewhat similar. The only differences moving forward will be access to private, unpublished data. (Dropbox, Box, AWS, iCloud, Azure, etc...) and old servers from dead companies.
