How it works<br>From drop to link in seconds

Drop<br>Drag files onto the menu bar icon or its dropdown — images, audio, video, markdown, PDFs, zips. Literally any file.

Upload<br>Dropper converts anything web-unfriendly on the fly, computes audio waveforms and thumbnails, and streams it all to your R2 bucket with live progress in the icon.

Paste<br>The share page URL is already on your clipboard. Paste it in Slack, iMessage, an email — the page is live, served straight from your bucket.

Share pages<br>Pages people actually enjoy opening<br>Every drop becomes a dark, focused page served from your own bucket — not a download prompt, not someone else's branding.

Optional image gallery view. Multiple images become a compact square grid; click any tile for a smoothly animated, full-screen lightbox with a blurred backdrop and previous/next navigation.<br>SoundCloud-style audio player. Waveforms are computed at upload time, drawn crisp at any DPI, click-to-seek, one track playing at a time.<br>A real video player. Custom scrubber, and the layout is sized from the video's dimensions before a single frame loads — the page never reflows.<br>Rendered markdown & text previews. Notes read like documents, code reads like code.<br>Native PDF embedding and clean download cards for everything else.

Screenshots built in<br>Capture, mark up, share — without leaving the menu bar<br>Capture an area, a window, or a whole display. Point with arrows, lines, ellipses and boxes, scribble freehand, drop in text, crop out what doesn't matter — seven colors, stroke or fill, any size. Then upload straight to a share link, or save to your Desktop.

Collections<br>Many files, one link<br>One drop, one page. Drop five files at once and they share a single page — in the order you dropped them.<br>Add more later. Drag onto an existing share and choose “Add to collection” — same link, more content.<br>Drag to reorder. Rearrange files in the dropdown and the live page updates to match.

Web-safe by default<br>Links that play everywhere<br>Apple formats are great — until you send them to someone on Chrome. Dropper converts as it uploads, so nobody ever writes back “it won't open”.

Lossless where possible — H.264 movies are remuxed, not re-encoded, and AIFF→WAV is a bit-perfect repack. Every conversion can be switched off.

Folders & breadcrumbs<br>Browse your bucket in folders with breadcrumbs. Shares get human-readable names like mixdown-final-v3-x8d2k1 — readable to you, unguessable to everyone else.

Ownership<br>Your bucket. Your account. Your data.<br>No middleman storage. Files go from your Mac directly to your Cloudflare R2 bucket. Dropper never sees, proxies, or holds your data.<br>No subscription. Dropper is free — no plans, no accounts. Storage is your own Cloudflare R2 bucket: the free tier covers 10 GB with zero egress fees, and anything beyond it Cloudflare bills to you directly.<br>Links that outlive the app. Share pages are plain files in your bucket, served from its public URL — or a custom domain you attach. If Dropper disappeared tomorrow, your links would keep working for as long as your bucket and its public endpoint stay up.<br>Unlisted by default. Every share URL ends in an unguessable random suffix, and there is no index to browse. Anyone you hand a link to can open it — no accounts, no passwords.
