The problem I kept seeing was simple. Founders spend real money on ads trying to reach other founders, while sitting right next to other founders with the exact same problem.

So I built StartupBar. A widget that lets founders share traffic with each other directly. You show other startups to your visitors, they show yours to theirs. Free forever.

27 days in, 33 startups in the network, 29,900 impressions shared, 833 clicks exchanged between founders.

Here is what actually surprised me.

The network effect kicked in faster than I expected. Going from 146 impressions on day one to 29,900 on day 27 with the same mechanic just more founders joining was something I did not fully anticipate.

Trust is the product. I reject more applications than I approve. Founders who hide the widget after getting approved, sites with ads everywhere, low quality products. One bad actor hurts everyone in the network so I review everything manually.

Design objections are real. The number one reason founders hesitate is not wanting anything on their site visually. Building a solution for this.
