Who built this

This course was built by the whole team at Remote.com.<br>Yes, everyone: HR, Operations, CX, Sales, Legal, etc., built a part<br>of it, on their own. We're also around 2000 people, fully<br>distributed around the world.

Why did we do it

To create Remote, we had to build a global payroll infrastructure<br>covering 140+ countries across legal, tax, and operations. There was<br>no shortcut: we had to build it from the ground up and make it simple<br>enough for anyone to use or build on. AI is foundational to how we<br>work now. We trained everyone, from engineers to payroll specialists,<br>and learned firsthand how hard it is to keep up with what ships every<br>day, even for a tech-forward company.
