One of my hobbies is landscape photography. Over the years I've shot on a Fujifilm, a Leica, and a handful of iPhones, and I have hundreds of photos from hikes, road trips, and photo walks scattered across hard drives and camera rolls with no good way to organize or share them.

When I lived in San Francisco, one of my favorite things to do on a Saturday morning was grab my camera and walk the waterfront from Aquatic Park through Fort Mason and Crissy Field to the Golden Gate Bridge. I did that walk hundreds of times over twelve years. The light was different every time.

I wanted a place where those photos could live permanently, organized by where they were taken and easy to share. I built Pinjour as a side project, a photo map for scenic photography where every photo is pinned to the place you took it and your whole map is shareable.

Every photo you post is pinned to your map and shows up on your profile in a masonry grid. Each pin has its own privacy setting: public for anyone to see, followers only, or private so only you can see it.

When you want to share, Pinjour generates a card you can post to your Instagram story. You choose the template: one shows the location name, one leaves it off. Fort Mason in bloom is worth sharing. A secret fly fishing spot is not.
