Vision 50 Years Phone
Make your old Android phone faster and healthier over time — instead of slower.
No root. No new hardware. 20-minute install. Open source.
What it does
Monitors battery, storage, thermal, and RAM health every night
Clears junk caches automatically (with your confirmation)
Speeds up the interface on older phones
Warns you before storage or heat becomes a problem
All processing stays on your phone. Nothing is uploaded.
Install (Android 10+, no root)
Install Termux and Termux:API from F-Droid
Enable Developer Options (Settings > About Phone > tap Build Number 7x) and Wireless Debugging
In Termux, run:<br>curl -fsSL https://raw.githubusercontent.com/50YearsPhone/vision-50-years-phone/main/install.sh | bash
Why
Phones don't wear out. Software bloat, runaway background apps, and battery aging make them feel slow. This fixes the software side — and keeps your phone useful for years longer.
Status
Phase 1 (early). Tested on: [Galaxy S8+].<br>Contributions welcome — especially device profiles and battery data.
