packed with a variety of functions. The world's first watch featuring computer functions

The world's first wrist computer system, released in 1984, consisted of a watch part and a separate “controller” console with a built-in printer. The user could input BASIC programing with a keyboard (sold separately) and enjoy playing games. It also included a memo function, a telephone directory, an address book, and a scheduling function. A separately-sold pocket-sized keyboard allowed operation on the go. The watch, controller, and keyboard were all box-shaped with straight lines for a unified style. The contrasting light and dark two-color gray base was accented with orange buttons.
