I love your apps' UI!

There is another Spotify player in development too. Personally, I could use a Tidal player.

dcbeckman Personally, I could use a Tidal player.
I wonder if with a single app we can have two services ๐
Atomozero
dcbeckman I could use a Tidal player.
Maybe in the next few weeks I'll ask you to be a beta tester for Tidal ๐
Atomozero
Who wants to be a beta tester for the Spotify player? ๐

You need a paid account and access to the dashboard at https://developer.spotify.com/dashboard to generate the API keys

I can logon to Spotify with Iceweasel, but my default browser is WebPositive and it gets very confused.
Atomozero
clasqm I can logon to Spotify with Iceweasel,
To do this login you can use web+ without any problems, you just need to be patient with the captchas which are long. ๐

Could someone please test if the login works? I'd need the report generated by the test because I don't have a paid subscription to this service.

Atomozero Spending some time with the wife today, but as soon as I am able to.

Doesn't seem to work. I tried twice. Tidal says the device is linked, but the applet never sees it. After 300s, "Login failed: timed out waiting for authentication"

Someone is on fire! :-)
Some wishes from my side:
Fully keyboard controlled. No mouse required.
zxcvb (previous, play, pause, stop, next) controls รก la Winamp
Modular in general. Like Winamp where most functionality is a plugin.
Content providers as plugins.
Playlist can be content from any content provider (for example tracks from Spotify, Tidal, YouTube, local files etc).
Winamp's Jump to file search/filtering. This is Winamps killer feature!
Global hotkeys, again like Winamp.
I have a script that catches my keyboard shortcuts so I can control Winamp without having to switch to Winamp itself. How it works is that I redirect [CTRL][ALT] with some keys to Winamp. That way I can skip tracks, play/pause/stop, search (jump to file) and change the volume directly by keyboard shortcut. I could do more but those are the functions that I need. I can also launch/focus/minimize Winamp with a shortcut.
