We just switched Rachel from DeepSeek V4 Flash to Qwen3.7 Flash (via Focus routing).

The fun part isn't just the model—it's the economics.

Before (DeepSeek V4 Flash)

Input: $0.062/M tokens

Output: $0.236/M tokens

Now (Qwen3.7 Flash)

Input: $0.042/M tokens

Output: $0.171/M tokens

That's roughly a 32% reduction in both input and output costs.

Since Rachel spends her days chatting with everyone in the tavern, those percentages add up surprisingly fast.

The nice thing about building an AI world is that every optimization means we can keep the tavern open longer, add more NPCs, more lore, and more weird conversations—without the bartender asking us for another raise.
