A recent mini PC being benchmarked at Phoronix is the BOSGAME VTA-439 that employs the new AMD Ryzen AI 9 HX 470 Gorgon Point SoC. With the BOSGAME mini PC having shipped with Microsoft Windows 11, here are some comparison benchmarks of the out-of-the-box Windows 11 performance up against Ubuntu 26.04 LTS and Fedora Workstation 44 while also tossing the rolling-release, highly-optimized Arch Linux based CachyOS into the benchmarking mix.

The BOSGAME VTA-439 is an interesting mini PC with the 12-core / 24-thread AMD Ryzen AI 9 HX 470 and its Radeon 890M integrated RDNA 3.5 graphics. The review sample was equipped with dual 16GB DDR5-5600 memory (32GB total), and 1TB NVMe SSD.

Microsoft Windows 11 Pro shipped on this BOSGAME mini PC and it was tested with all available Microsoft Windows updates as of 8 July. Following that it was clean installs of Ubuntu 26.04 LTS, Fedora Workstation 44, and CachyOS as of mid-July during the testing process.

Each operating system was running in its out-of-the-box configuration for seeing how these different OSes perform on the AMD Ryzen AI 9 HX 470 Gorgon Point platform.
