Goldenboy — pixel art, dithering, halftone dots, and brick art in your browser
Goldenboy is a free browser-based editor that turns any photo or video clip into pixel art,<br>dithered images, halftone dot art, or LEGO-style brick mosaics. All rendering happens<br>client-side in your own browser — media you add is never uploaded to a server, so there is<br>no queue, no account, and no size limit imposed by an upload.
Four effects work on both stills and video: Pixel Art, Dither, Dots, and Bricks. Dithering<br>offers five real algorithms as per-pixel passes — Bayer 4×4 and Bayer 8×8 ordered dither,<br>and Floyd-Steinberg, Atkinson, and Stucki error diffusion — running in grid space so the<br>preview and the export match exactly. On top of that sit 46 grading looks, duotone with any<br>two colors, grain, contrast, exposure, blend modes, crop, and a before/after compare divider.
The editor is free and unlimited with no signup, including a full-size live preview of the<br>finished result. Exporting a file is the paid part: a one-time $4.99 lifetime unlock enables<br>PNG, JPEG, and WebP image export at 1200px preview resolution or true source resolution up to<br>4096px, and MP4 (H.264) video export. The whole image library is free to edit. Goldenboy never<br>watermarks anything.
