A recorded talk without its slides is half a talk; a deck without the talk is a pile of bullet points. And the two rot separately — the video on one dying platform, the slides on another, the sync between them gone the moment the event site disappears. p2present binds deck, video, captions, and timing into one small manifest, so what survives is the entire experience, scrubbing, slide sync, multilingual subtitles, provenance, not a folder of loose files.
