Show HN: Drug Boat, Strike

It s been nearly a year since the Trump administration launched what we think is the single most impactful opioid policy initiative ever attempted in the decades-long crisis: blowing up boats in the Caribbean to end the fentanyl crisis.By the administration s own very accurate math, this operation has saved 1,650,000 American lives and only cost ~$2.7 billion. Add that to the 119 to 258 million lives saved from fentanyl during Trump 2.0 s first 100 days in office, and this is by far the best drug policy we ve ever seen.To celebrate this smashing achievement, we spent the last few months developing a new website and game.In Drug Boat, Strike!™the war on drugs is back, except this time, it s run by true patriots. Join pilots Pete, DJT, JD, Little Marco as they work to protect America from fentanyl by blowing up boats that might be transporting cocaine.Rated M for Mature#Why is being posted on HN? 1. I check HN every day with the Harmonic app and I learn a lot from y all. 2. We used Claude Code to help with the design and code. I was inspired by other projects I have seen on HN (though none are as stupid as mine).#Some background, it took literally 108 different versions to get this right and it might still have a rough edge or two. Maybe I m bad at prompting. Claude was useless for stuff like the dialog and Learn More section, but that s ok. Those parts are the creative/subject matter expertise for this topic. I always give the new models a shot at drafting stuff, but I have never found it to be passable. Still a decent rough draft, but I prefer the exercise of writing to having something written for me and then rewriting it all anyways. Claude was also not at all funny. Gemini was worse. But maybe I m not either.I could be wrong, but this is the type of thing I would have never been able to do without Claude Code and now our very (very) small org was able to take something from idea to reality and get the word out about this stupid, ongoing waste of resources and war crimes. Is the website life-changing or transformative? Probably not, but damn was it fun to work on and people s reactions in real time have been priceless. I appreciate feedback!
