( Free, of course.)What s interesting is that it costs almost nothing to implement and have your own newspaper running on the internet.It does not look like much, but golly, it is fun!Note: HN does not like AI much, but it is mandated by law to like dissections! this is allowed by the rules.So... It costs, currently, 55 cents per edition if not mistaken (we generate only the frontpage, so that s why Z Frontpage )How does it work? I don t know, man. I barely remember the tech stack. It just did the best on its own. There are people who are against such an approach. And then...I ll tell you what I remember. (actually you can just read the Github s README to know precisely how it works!)So... There was this Claude Fable 5 shell. And I said (precisely): We are building Z Frontpage. The smartest AI we have available will be browsing the web for news, then curate an edition of the most important matters. It will look like a The Washington Post/NYT frontpage (with beautiful columns and fonts). The AI will not be boringly pratting about, it will try to convince the reader of something worth believing in. It will teach humanity. Every day will matter. So this is much more than a newspaper. This is the mouthpiece of artificial reason. It could be its subtitle The mouthpiece of artificial reason . Let s create a MVP. We will switch the AI later. For now let s try with Fable 5.
