01<br>🛡️<br>Nothing sensitive ever reaches an AI<br>Every document is scrubbed on this computer, before any AI is involved: names, contacts, client identities, credentials, keys — removed or replaced with opaque tokens per your project policy. Originals and the un-redact vault stay in Sanitizer's private storage; the AI-ready workspace contains sanitized material only. In reversible mode, answers can be un-redacted locally — so the AI works blind, but you don't.
02<br>🪶<br>Heavy formats in, lightweight files out<br>A 40 MB PDF or Word file is mostly baggage: layout data, embedded fonts, metadata, binary bloat. Sanitizer converts everything to clean Markdown and flat CSV — the same content at a fraction of the size. Your AI spends its tokens and its context window on the actual engineering text, not on format garbage, which makes answers cheaper and sharper.
03<br>🔎<br>A searchable database, not a pile of files<br>Every document is chunked and indexed twice — a full-text index for exact terms, tags and standards references, and a semantic index that finds passages by meaning. AI agents get purpose-built retrieval tools automatically, so they pull the five relevant paragraphs instead of swallowing five hundred pages, and cite the page they came from.
LOCAL<br>Everything — conversion, OCR, sanitation, indexing, search — runs locally. No cloud services, no uploads, no accounts. The only thing an AI ever sees is what's left after Sanitizer is done.

02<br>Commercial use requires the Business edition<br>Use of Sanitizer by or for a company, organization, government body, or in the course of paid or professional work is commercial use and is not covered by this license. Commercial and business use is licensed through the Sanitizer (Business) edition on the Microsoft Store.
03<br>Restrictions<br>You may not sell, rent, sublicense, or redistribute the installer or the software; remove or alter its notices; or reverse-engineer it except to the extent that right cannot be waived under applicable law. You may make copies only as needed for your own personal use and backup.
04<br>Local operation and your data<br>Sanitizer runs on your computer and processes your documents locally. You are responsible for the documents you process and for reviewing sanitized output before sharing it. See our privacy policy.
