How It Works

Pixtrava is an infinite 3D voxel world where you can explore, build, and claim your spot on the grid. Here's everything you need to know to get started.

Getting Started

Explore the Grid

When you land on Pixtrava, you start in Explore mode. Drag to rotate the camera, scroll to zoom, and pan to navigate the infinite voxel world. See what others have built and find the perfect spot to claim.

Create an Account

Click Join in the sidebar to create your free account. You'll need an email and a username. Once registered, you can start claiming land and building on the grid.

Switch to Build Mode

Use the bottom bar to switch from Explore to Build mode. In Build mode, hovering over a valid position shows a ghost preview — click to place a block and claim that coordinate.

Claim Your Spot

Each block costs 1 Pix to place. Ground-level blocks (y=0) are the cheapest way to start claiming land. Stack blocks vertically to build structures. Every block you place is permanently tied to your account.

Earn & Buy Credits

You earn +50 Pix every day as a daily gift. Invite friends using your referral code to earn bonus Pix. Need more? Purchase an expansion pack from the sidebar to supercharge your building.

Controls

Mouse / Touch: Drag to rotate · Scroll/pinch to zoom · Click to place blocks (in Build mode)

Keyboard: No keyboard shortcuts yet — everything is point-and-click.

Ownership

When you place a block, that coordinate is permanently marked as yours on the grid. Other players can see your username on your blocks, and they cannot build on your coordinates. Your builds persist across sessions — the grid is a living, permanent world.

Pix Credits

Pix is the in-world currency used for building. 1 block = 1 Pix regardless of height. You start with the daily gift of +50 Pix. If you run out, you can wait for the next daily refresh or purchase a pack from the sidebar. There are no recurring fees — once you own a coordinate, it's yours.
