How this sound test works<br>We generate precise audio signals in your browser. You listen and confirm the result, so the diagnostic workbench reflects the real speakers, headphones and room in front of you.

Browser limits<br>Web Audio can control the digital test signal, not inspect a physical driver or calibrated sound pressure. Device labels, sample rate conversion and output selection vary by browser.

Sound test questions<br>How does an online sound test work?The browser generates a known digital signal and sends it to the output selected by your operating system. You confirm what you physically hear, because the page cannot listen to speakers automatically.<br>Is this sound test private?Yes. Output signals are generated locally. Microphone tools ask permission and process samples in the browser; recordings are not uploaded or saved to history.<br>Can the site identify my exact speakers or headphones?Usually not. Browsers intentionally limit output-device details. Where a native output picker is supported we expose it, but we do not invent a device name.<br>Why can I see movement but hear no sound?The wrong system output, a muted volume stage, disconnected hardware or autoplay policy may be involved. Start the guided no-sound diagnosis.<br>Is this a hearing test?No. It checks an audio signal path and relies on subjective confirmation. It is not a medical or calibrated hearing assessment.
