Most individual developers land in the $10–$20/month range — GitHub Copilot Pro is the cheapest mainstream paid option at $10/month, Cursor and Windsurf both start their Pro tier at $20/month, and Claude Code is included with a $20/month Claude Pro subscription. There is no single “cheapest” or “most expensive” answer, because these tools price on different axes — flat subscriptions, per-seat team pricing, and usage-metered agent tiers all coexist in this category.
