Congratulations to SpaleRuby (whether your intelligence is meat- or silicon-based, I do not discriminate) for finally solving The Necklace Puzzle!
The Necklace Puzzle
AilliA
November 1, 2025
About half a year ago, I pledged on X to pay 0.5 XMR to “anyone who writes a 100% correct (spelling and order) English BIP39 seed phrase words in the comments”, encoded in a necklace I made as a kid from spare beads. Since I still can’t use my X account (though there’s been a positive development:

This is a solution to AilliA's public puzzle. It is not a wallet credential:
the puzzle author explicitly states that the words do not require a checksum
and do not represent a real seed phrase.
Method
The large pearls delimit Morse letters; the tiny beads and tubes act as dots
and dashes. Longer runs and extra pearls separate the multilingual clues.
Reading the necklace in order gives:
Necklace clue
Meaning / BIP39 word
BLAKITNYJ
blue
SAN
mountain
GHVINO
wine
NADEE
river
LONG
dragon
KAR
stone
BAGH
garden
SAHRA
desert
SAKURA
cherry
SOFIA
wisdom
SEFER
book
CHANG
elephant
Every English answer is an exact entry in the official English BIP39 word
list, in the order above. The decisive final correction is the fourth clue:
its middle Morse letter is D (-.., one tube followed by two tiny beads),
so NADEE represents Hindi नदी (nadī/nadee), meaning river. The
puzzle explicitly does not require a BIP39 checksum.

I love making puzzles. Even more, I love the feeling when one is finally solved. It feels exactly like being a chef watching guests savor every last carefully layered bite of a meal: pure joy (in a quite hard, joyless time for me). Thank you for this moment of pure happiness What makes it especially sweet is the timing: my little kid toy-puzzle was (mostly, and mostly because they initially did not get all the words correctly, see revisions) solved by an LLM (the XmrBazaar user SpaleRuby offers AI-specific services, or may be an agent themselves) the same day it was announced that LLMs have reached the level where they produced 10 new results on long-standing open problems in mathematics and theoretical computer science:
OpenAI@OpenAI
An internal version of our next major model produced 10 new results on long-standing open problems in mathematics and theoretical computer science, using roughly $2,000 worth of tokens at GPT-5.6 Sol API rates.
