TriageBox
One focused view for mail, calendar and tasks.
01
See what matters
Unread counts, search, sender sorting and optional relevance scores turn a noisy inbox into a queue.
02
Act in one click
Archive, snooze, label, unsubscribe, reply or remove a thread without opening another Gmail tab.
03
Keep control
AI is optional, keys stay on your device, and every Google permission is granted by you.
Private by design
Your inbox does not pass through a TriageBox server
The purpose of TriageBox AI Gmail Checker is to help the signed-in user
manage and prioritise their own Gmail inbox from the browser.
The app is a productivity Chrome extension (toolbar badge + popup / side panel) that,
with the user’s OAuth consent, accesses the user’s Gmail and optionally Google Calendar
so they can: view unread mail; archive, snooze, label, trash, or mark threads read/unread;
review possible phishing risk; see their calendar agenda; and optionally generate AI
summaries using API keys the user supplies.
TriageBox AI Gmail Checker has no developer-operated backend. Processing runs in the
user’s browser; data is not sent to the publisher. This homepage is the official product
site for the application of the same name configured on the Google OAuth consent screen.
One extension, one workflow
Move from noise to done
Use the basic triage tools with no AI key, then add summaries only if they earn their place.
Triage the queue
Unread badge, thread list, archive, snooze, labels, mark read/unread, spam, trash — on your account only.
Check the signal
Optional risk / phishing scoring on messages you choose to analyse, to help you spot scams faster.
Plan the follow-up
Optional agenda view and event actions using Google Calendar scopes you approve.
Summarise on demand
Summaries and scores only when you supply a Gemini and/or xAI key and trigger a feature.
A key is not a subscription — a Gemini key is created in a minute in Google AI Studio on an
ordinary Google account, with no billing attached.

AI phishing score grounded in the sender — From line plus Gmail’s SPF/DKIM/DMARC verdict, so a verified sender is not accused of impersonating itself.

Phishing shield v2 — SPF/DKIM/DMARC, reply-path and attachment signals from headers Gmail already sends; no API key required for the deterministic half.

Quick answers
FAQ
Is it free?
Yes. Free to install on the Chrome Web Store — no subscription and no TriageBox account. Optional support never unlocks features.
Does mail go through a TriageBox server?
No. There is no developer-operated backend. Processing runs in your browser; your Gmail data is not sent to the publisher.
Do I need an AI key?
No. Triage, sweeps, unsubscribe and the no-key scam checks work without one. Summaries and AI scores are optional if you add a Gemini and/or xAI key.
Will it replace Checker Plus for Gmail?
Not as a notifier — Checker Plus remains stronger there. TriageBox is built to clear the pile. Honest comparison.
Who it is for
Individuals who want a focused inbox workbench for their own Google account.
It is not a bulk-mail tool, not a marketing platform, and not intended to access other people’s mailboxes.
How sign-in works
Google sign-in uses OAuth via Chrome’s identity APIs. You grant access on Google’s consent screen.
You can revoke access at any time at
myaccount.google.com/permissions.
Uninstalling the extension removes local data stored by the app.
