PasteDaemon — whatever you need is already in your clipboard
The ultimate Clipboard Manager · version 1.6.2
What you need is already in your clipboard.
That URL you want to share? Stripped of tracking parameters. Unformatted JSON? Automatically pretty-printed. A meme from
two weeks ago. It's all there, a single shortcut away.

The search bar
Type a pipeline, watch it resolve
$1 is your last copy, $2 the one before it.
Filters are actions, written by the keyword you would type in the
app. All five below ship with it, and this runs their real patterns
— jira-link takes the host from your own
$jiraBaseURL.

History
Every copy kept — text, files, and images. Automatic OCR on any images
read so you can search by image text. Items marked concealed never enter
PasteDaemon.
Variables
Snippets with their own history, written as $var. Use them in actions, in
scripts, or paste them from the overlay.
Lists
Several clippings under one name, written as @list. Load
them into the clipboard and paste each item one at a time. You can even create template lists and generate them dynamically.
Actions
Transform your clippings: a regex substitution, or a script
that transforms your text. Write your own or use our extensive standard library. Bind an action to a hotkey, automatically fire them with a trigger, or use the shell to invoke them.
Triggers
Rules that run the moment you copy. If something matches the conditions, it automatically runs an action.
REPL
The search bar is a small shell. A source, a chain of filters, and
somewhere to send the result — $1 | trim | upper,
$1 + 5, $1 | split , >> @recipients.
Resolves as you type for easy debugging.
AI-Native
A local HTTP API and MCP server, so your agents can act on your clipboard. Integrate other apps with PasteDaemon.
Privacy
No account, no sync, no telemetry. Your clipboard never leaves the
machine. The only network request is to check for updates. What's stored, exactly.
The demo · 35 seconds
Two copies, nothing typed in between
A tracked link copied out of a browser arrives in the
next window already clean, because a trigger fired the moment it was
copied. Then a timestamp a colleague sent in Eastern, converted to
Pacific from the search bar — resolved above the bar while the command
is still being typed. There is no sound; the captions carry it.
Loads from YouTube on play
Pressing play loads the player from
youtube-nocookie.com; until you do, nothing on this page is
requested from Google. What that means.
Pricing
The clipboard manager is free. The automation is what you pay for.
