Issue body actions
Frontend and UX/UI have never been my strongest suit, and right now I'm fully committed to the various items on the roadmap, so I'm reaching out to the community for help on this one.
If you have experience in frontend development, UI/UX design, or just a good eye for what makes a website feel great, your contribution would make a real difference!
The Goal
Give the Numax website a fresh, distinctive look that makes it genuinely attractive and enjoyable to browse, something that reflects the personality of the project rather than blending in with the crowd.
The problem (honest take)
Right now, the website doesn't really stand out. I keep seeing the same pattern everywhere: clean-but-generic AI-flavored layouts, I'd love something that breaks that mold, still professional and readable, but with its own identity.
To be clear: I'm not looking for another "AI-style" website or something that looks like every other devtool landing page out there. If you've felt that fatigue too, you know exactly what I mean. 😄
What I'd love to see
Honestly? Just the Numax site done good, that's it. No grand requirements, no strict constraints. Having someone who cares about this stuff take ownership of it would already be fantastic.
The current site is built with Astro (living under docs/nx-site/), and ideally it'd be nice to keep that — but honestly there are no hard constraints here. Any approach is welcome, and I'm happy to discuss everything openly.
How you can help
Design proposals : mockups, wireframes, Figma files, even rough sketches, all welcome !!
Frontend contributions : HTML/CSS/JS implementations, static site setups, whatever you're comfortable with
Opinions and feedback : if you have thoughts on direction, aesthetic, or tech stack, drop them in the comments
Prior art : links to sites you think have interesting or distinctive design that might inspire the direction
Incomplete drafts, honest doubts, and open questions are absolutely expected and welcome — the goal is to start a conversation and build something together.
Notes
No strict tech stack requirement. If you have a strong opinion on a different static site generator, a CSS framework, or a fully custom approach, I'm open to hearing it.
Thanks so much to anyone who wants to take a crack at this !!
